Luxury carmaker Porsche, owned by the German automaker Volkswagen is expected to launch a limited edition of the Porsche 911 luxury sports car model in India as part of its global launch in the month of September 2013.
The Porsche 911 limited edition car model will be introduced with a price tag of Rs 1,72,56,000.
The limited edition of the car model will be launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 sports car model at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt (Germany) in September 2013. The bookings for the limited edition model have been opened by the luxury carmaker.
According to the carmaker, the deliveries of the luxury car model will commence in December 2013. The automaker also stated that the super sports car 911 is capable of reaching a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 300 kilometers per hour.
