    Honda India announces price hike of Rs 3,000 – Rs 14,000

    Honda India, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has announced a price hike of Rs 3,000 – Rs 14,000 for the recently launched Amaze sedan and the CR-V SUV. The price hike comes after it increased the price on the other existing car models namely the Brio, the City and the Accord in April 2013.

    The price of the CR-V and the Amaze sedan were left unchanged during the earlier price hike. The price of the Amaze sedan has been increased by a range of Rs 3,000 – Rs 8,000 while the price of the CR-V SUV has been hiked by a range of Rs 6,000 – Rs 14,000.

    The Amaze sedan has accounted for 6,036 units out of the total of 11,342 units sold overall for the month of May 2013.
