Maruti Suzuki has launched its new 2024 Dzire car. This car is available in 4 variants LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus. The company has launched the New Maruti Dzire at a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and its prices go up to Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. The Dzire petrol-automatic (AMT) powertrain is available in all variants except the Dzire base model. Its CNG variant will have a mileage of 33km/kg. It is equipped with many advanced features. New Maruti Dzire gets 5-star safety rating:
To meet the growing safety needs of customers, Maruti Suzuki has made the 2024 Maruti Dzire so safe that it has received a 5-star rating in Global NCAP. The Dzire has achieved a 5-star crash test rating in terms of adult occupant protection and a 4-star crash test rating for child occupant protection. This is the first such Maruti car.

Feature updates in the new Maruti Dzire can be seen across the exterior and interior. These include a larger front grille with horizontal slats, sleek LED DRLs, new LED tail lamps in a Y-shaped pattern connected by a chrome strip, and new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Factory fitted single pan sunroof:
Talking about features, it gets a large 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while its factory fitted single pan sunroof is a segment-first feature offered in the sub-4 metre compact sedan segment.
382 liters of boot space
The new Dzire is 3,995mm long, 1,735mm wide, 1,525mm tall, with a 2,450mm long wheelbase. It also gets 163mm of ground clearance and 382 litres of boot space.
Premium Cabin
The interior is offered with a light beige and black colour cabin, which looks quite premium. Wooden trim can be seen throughout the dashboard with silver accents. Fabric/premium leatherette upholstery is being offered depending on the trim level.
Engine Powertrain of New Maruti Dzire
The new Dzire gets a new 3-cylinder 1.2L normal petrol engine, which generates 82PS of power at 5700rpm and 112Nm of torque at 4300rpm. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. This time, Maruti Suzuki has also updated the AMT automatic and it changes gears much more smoothly and faster than before. With the new engine, the Dzire promises a mileage of 24.79kmpl with manual and 25.71kmpl with automatic transmission.

New Maruti Dzire CNG Mileage 33.73km/kg
The Maruti Dzire also gets a CNG-manual powertrain, which is capable of generating 70PS of power at 5700rpm and 102Nm of torque at 4300rpm. With this powertrain, the Dzire offers an ARAI certified mileage of 33.73km/kg.
Changes in the engine lineup
The 2024 Maruti Dzire also sees changes in its engine lineup. It now generates its power through a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder Z-series petrol engine, which has replaced the earlier 1.2 liter, 4 cylinder K-series unit.
