Volksawagen India, the Indian subsidiary of the German automobile manufacturer and the largest European automaker Volkswagen has launched the new Polo GT TSI 1.2L in auto market. The new variant of the Polo has been priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Polo is equipped with a 1.2 liter petrol engine which is mated to a 7-speed gearbox.
According to Mr. Arvind Saxena Managing Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars Volkswagen Group Sales India, fuel efficiency of a car model has become a strong factor in the buying decision for the Indian customers. He added that the new Polo GT TSI will meet the customer’s expectations of the right balance between power and high fuel efficiency.
The latest engine technology developed by Volkswagen is the TSI technology which is claimed by the carmaker to enable compact, high powered as well as highly efficient engines. This technology is the successful implementation of the downsizing concept by Volkswagen.
