Indian SUV manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has announced its plans to launch the new Verito Vibe sub-4 meter hatchback in the Indian car market on June 5, 2013. The new car model is based on the Verito platform and has been developed in-house by M&M.
The new Verito Vibe will be similar to the Verito sedan in terms of space and interiors as well as the powertrain which will be the 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine.
According to Mr. Pravin Shah Chief Executive Automotive Division Mahindra & Mahindra, the new car model will be Mahindra’s foray into the volume selling sub-4 meter car segment. The Vibe will compete directly with the Swift by Maruti Suzuki, the Figo by Ford and the Micra by Nissan.
