The British ultra-luxury automobile manufacturer Rolls-Royce is planning to launch the new Wraith car model. Launching the Wraith in India in the month of August 2013, the carmaker has brought back an 80 year old nameplate for the ultra-luxury segment.
The Wraith coupe is expected to be priced around Rs 4 crore which may be subject to fluctuations in the Indian rupee at the time of launch.
The new Wraith car model is equipped with a 6.6 liter twin turbo V12 engine which offers 625PS of power and 800Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and the gearbox features direct coordination with the GPS to predict gear changes in relation to traffic and road conditions.
The coupe car model is capable of reaching a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds and is claimed to be the fastest car built by the carmaker so far.
