Mercedes Benz India, the Indian arm of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes Benz has introduced the ML63 AMG performance sports utility vehicle in the Indian car market at a price of Rs 1.49 crore.
The launch of the ML63 AMG SUV coincides with the inauguration of the first AMG Performance Centre in India in Delhi. The performance SUV features a quad-exhaust setup and front air intakes and is equipped with the 5.5-litre V8 engine which offers 525bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. The automaker also provides an option to boost power to 557bhp with a performance package.
The 5.5-litre V8 engine is mated to the AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission enabling the new car model to speed from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 4.8 seconds. The top speed of the new performance SUV is claimed to be 250 kilometers per hour.
