Mercedes Benz India, the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes Benz has been ranked Number 1 in the automotive sector among “India’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune India. The survey was conducted by Fortune India in collaboration with the Hay Group, a global management consultancy.
Companies were ranked by a total of 552 senior executives from select companies on ten parameters namely performance, endurance, financial soundness, quality, innovation, corporate governance, talent management, leadership, corporate social responsibility and global business footprint
.
Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Eberhard Kern Managing Director & CEO Mercedes-Benz India stated that 2013 is the year of offensive for the carmaker which has launched new products in 2013 such as the G 63 AMG luxury off-roader GL-Class and the E-Class luxury sedan and the A-Class compact luxury car model.
The German luxury automaker also bagged the rank of Number 1 auto brand among all auto manufacturers in the ranking by Economic Times in January 2013.
