    Maruti Suzuki India ranks highest in customer satisfaction: JD Power

    Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer has been ranked highest in terms of customer satisfaction at company’s authorized dealerships for the 14th consecutive year in a study by JD Power Asia Pacific. The market research firm states the carmaker scored a total of 876 on a 1,000 point scale.

    The mass market average including the score of all automakers evaluated in the study stood at 834 points. The second position was held by Hyundai, followed by Honda and Mahindra in terms of ranks. Hyundai among all carmakers has proved to be the most improved brand according to the JD Power report. The second largest car manufacturer has shown significant improvements across all factors, it states.

    The study by JD Power is based on the measured satisfaction levels of the vehicle owners visiting an authorized dealership service center in the first 1-2 years of vehicle ownership. The factors used to measure the satisfaction levels were service quality, service adviser, service facilities, service initiation and vehicle pick-up service.
