Volkswagen India, the Indian arm of the European automobile giant Volkswagen has introduced a new facelift version of its premium sedan Jetta in the Indian car market. The Jetta has been launched with a price range of Rs 13,70,000 – Rs 19,43,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Commenting on the new car launch, Mr. Arvind Saxena Managing Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars stated that the new version of the Jetta features a range of petrol and diesel engine options and an optional 6-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The car upgrade by the German carmaker comes amid the festive season and is a part of the company’s plan to update all its car models in the Indian car market including the Polo hatchback and the Vento sedan in addition to the Jetta premium sedan. The new car features revamped headlamps along with headlamp washers and LED daytime running lights in addition to new 16 inch alloys.
