Skoda India, the Indian arm of the Czech automobile manufacturer Skoda has introduced a new upgraded version of the Fabia hatchback car model in the Indian market. The car has been launched with a refreshed look and new interiors.
The new upgraded car model features no changes on the exterior or the engine and mechanics. However, the interiors of the premium hatchback have been revamped to provide a refreshed look and improved buttons and multimedia controls. These include a new steering wheel with the company logo, a new gear knob and new rotary controls in addition to new buttons for air conditioners.
Industry experts are skeptical that the new car with revamped interiors would generate much interest in new car buyers. The launch is an attempt by the Czech carmaker to refresh car sales amid sluggish sales in the Indian automobile industry.
