Reva Electric Car Company (RECC) recently unveiled its new range of electric cars. The cars will be powered by lithium-ion batteries and will come equipped with several improved features. These include a fast charge portal that can achieve up to 90 per cent charge in one hour, roof-mounted solar panels, and telematics for remote monitoring of car information. Reva will also soon launch its rent-a-car service, under which people will be able to rent the car at the rate of Rs.2,000 per week.
