Renault India, the Indian subsidiary of the French automobile manufacturer Renault has launched the new 2014 Renault Fluence in the Indian car market. The new upgraded car has been introduced in India at a price of Rs 13,99,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new car has reportedly received cosmetic changes and the engine and specifications are the same as the existing car model. The exterior of the car features a new bumper, a new front grille and new alloy wheels. The headlights have also been upgraded with daytime running LEDs.
The interiors have also been upgraded with a new 3D sound system with eight speakers and a digital instrument cluster along with dual-zone climate control. The new car model also sports electronic parking brake.
The new car is powered by the 1.5-litre K9K turbocharged diesel engine mated to a six speed manual transmission. The car is claimed to offer a mileage of 20.4 kilometers per liter.
The petrol version of the Fluence car model has been discontinued and is now only available with a diesel engine option.
