Nissan India, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan has introduced a special edition of the Sunny sedan in the Indian car market. The new special edition is a diesel version of the Sunny XV and has been priced at Rs 9,86,000, Rs 56,000 higher than the existing Sunny XV diesel model.
While the technical specifications of the car remain the same, the limited edition car model receives additional features such as leather seats, reverse parking sensors, rear spoiler and chrome finish exhaust.
The car is powered by the 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which powers the existing version of the car.
The carmaker expects the new limited edition of the Sunny XV D to boost its sales in the festive season and bring about some revival in the sluggish market conditions.
