The recently launched new Octavia premium sedan by the Indian arm of the Czech carmaker Skoda has received 1,000 bookings within 3 weeks of launch. The new sedan car model which was launched on October 3, 2013 in the India car market is available at an entry level price of Rs. 13,95,000 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
The carmaker also introduced the online booking option for all its car models in India earlier in the month of October 2013. The booking amount for the Octavia has been placed at Rs 5,000. The amount is 100 percent refundable in case of a cancellation.
According to Mr. Pawel Szuflak Director Sales & Marketing ล koda Auto India, the Czech automaker aims to provide utmost convenience to its buyers by launching the online booking option. The booking amount for online option can be paid through various options of debit card, credit card and internet banking.
