The joint venture of Renault and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd – Mahindra Renault has launched the Logan sedan in Nepal.
Mahindra Renault will sell the Logan through a local distributor in Nepal, Agni Inc. Agni Inc. already distributes Mahindra vehicles and tractors in the country. Customers will be able to purchase two variants of the Logan, the 1.4 GLE Petrol and the 1.5 DLS Diesel initially and other variants subsequently.
Commenting to the press Mr. Gerald Porcario, General Manager (Marketing), Mahindra Renault Pvt. Ltd. Said that since the Logan launch in 2007, it has carved a distinct niche for itself in India and not they are introducing the Logan to Nepal, which has a rapidly growing automobile industry and is the first international market for the joint venture.
Mahindra Renault has earlier said it will look at exporting the Logan to neighboring countries and some markets in Africa that have a right-hand drive.
