Indian car maker, Tata Motors has been awarded the ‘Top Exporter Gold Trophy’ by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC). The company received this recognition for its outstanding contribution to engineering exports during the year 2006-07, in the “Large Enterprise” category. Mr. Atul K. Dhagat, Head – PCBU International Business, accepted the award on behalf of Tata Motors from Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Union Minister of External Affairs, at a function held in Kolkata on August 9, 2008. Through its awards, EEPC honours meritorious exporters for their excellent export performance .
