Hyundai India, the largest car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India has a milestone for the Grand i10 hatchback with the sale of 1,00,000 units with 10 months of launch in the Indian auto market.
The Grand i10 hatchback car model was launched in the month of September 2013. Commenting about the milestone achievement, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava Senior Vice President (Marketing and Sales) Hyundai Motor India stated that the car model has created a benchmark in quality and technology.
The car model is available with both petrol as well as diesel fuel options. While the petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa engine, the diesel version of the car is equipped with a 1.1-litre three cylinder U2 VGT motor engine.
