Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has extended its hugely successful special scheme for Government employees, under which they get discounts on Hyundai cars as well as various finance options to choose from, to include government owned Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) employees as well. The company has tied up with the State Bank of India, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank to provide finance for car purchases and is extending the scheme seeing its great success, 3,000 cars having been sold under it in the first month itself. The government employee scheme was initially announced only for the month of October but because of the tremendous response it received, Hyundai not only extended it for another month but has also now made it more inclusive, so a larger number of people can benefit from it.
