The Tata Motors-Fiat manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon began the production of Fiat’s upcoming saloon car, the Linea, last week. The car will be launched in December, and will have six variants. The Ranjangaon facility is a 50-50 joint venture between Fiat and Tata Motors and has the capacity to produce 2,00,000 cars every year. Fiat’s target is a sale of 2,500 units per month. The Linea will be distributed by both Tata and Fiat dealers.
