Hindustan Motors has launched the Mitsubishi Outlander 2012 in India on March 29, 2012. The new upgraded SUV is powered by a 2.4-litre engine that offers 170 PS and 226 Nm of torque. Priced at Rs 20,55,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi), the new Outlander features various changes and additions as compared to the existing model.
The SUV is claimed to be suitable for both off-road as well as on-road driving. Featuring a keyless operating system as well as a Rockford Fosgate premium 710 watt music system, the new SUV can seat 7 people. The car is equipped with ABS, EBD and RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) for additional safety in addition to body and dual frontal airbags.
