Audi India, the Indian arm of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Audi has launched the Audi R8 V10 Plus car model in the Indian luxury car market at a price of Rs 2, 05, 95,000 onwards (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
The new car model is the latest entrant in Audi’s R8 family of car models and features a new 7-speed S tronic and is equipped with a V10 Plus engine that offers 550hp. Also featured in the new car model is Audi’s pioneering Audi Space Frame (ASF) technology as well as a new single-frame grille.
The sports car model is capable of reaching from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour of speed in 3.5 seconds and boasts of a top speed of 317 kilometers per hour.
According to Mr. Michael Perschke Head Audi India, the carmaker expects to further build upon its leadership position in the super sports car segment in India with the launch of the new sports car model. The company now offers a range of R8 options in the Indian sports car segment, he added.
