Audi India, the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Audi has launched the Q3 S Edition sports utility vehicle in the Indian luxury auto market at a price of Rs 24,99,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
According to Mr. Michael Perschke Head Audi India, the new SUV balances power and fuel efficiency and offers a mileage of 17.33 kilometers per liter.
Along with the launch of the new Q3 S Edition, the automaker has also launched in India its online booking initiative and has already received 125 bookings for the new luxury SUV car model.
Audi is also working on expanding its dealership network in the Indian automobile market and plans to increase the number of dealerships from the current 27 to 34 by the end of the year 2013.
In the period of January-July 2013, the carmaker has sold a total of 5,511 cars in the Indian luxury auto segment. The automaker is targeting selling a total of 10,500-10,800 vehicles in the year 2013.
