Fiat India, the Indian arm of the Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat has launched a new revamped version of the Punto hatchback namely the Punto Sport 2013. The new car model features various cosmetic updates but no changes in terms of mechanics and engine.
The new sports version of the Punto has been priced at Rs 7,60,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) and competes directly with the likes of Hyundai i20 and the Volkswagen Polo.
The cosmetic changes include a roof spoiler, branded door sills and floor mats, sport pedal with aluminium inserts and a chrome exhaust tip. The exterior of the car features sports decals and the car is available in two color paints, red and white with a black roof-top.
On the security front, the new car model has dual front airbags, a fire prevention system and ABS. The car also features immobilizer with rolling security code and speed-sensitive volume control.
