Rolls-Royce India, the Indian subsidiary of the British super luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has launched the Wraith four-seater coupe in the Indian auto market at a price of Rs 4.6 crore. The new luxury car model is equipped with a a twin-turbo V12 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic ZF transmission.
The car is capable of reaching a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds. According to Mr. Herfried Hasenoehrl General Manager for Emerging Markets-Asia Rolls-Royce Motor, the new luxury automobile is the most powerful vehicle manufactured by Rolls Royce.
Among the various features of the Wraith are various technologies such as head-up display and adaptive headlights apart from voice activation commands and route assistance.
According to Mr. Hasenoehrl, the Indian luxury car market continues to play a significant role in terms of surpassing certain company targets. The automaker currently has dealerships at Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad and plans to open two more shops at Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.
