Skoda Auto India, the Indian arm of the Czech automaker wholly owned by the Volkswagen Group has launched a special edition of the Rapid sedan named the Rapid Leisure at an entry level price of Rs 7,79,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The high end model of the Rapid Leisure is priced at Rs 9,06,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Rapid Leisure is available with both petrol and diesel fuel options and features a portable navigation system along with a rear view camera and rear parking sensors. Both petrol and diesel versions of the new variant Skoda Rapid are powered by a 1.6 liter engine. The petrol version of the car model also features the option of automatic transmission.
The special edition of the Rapid sedan is available across India for a limited period according to a statement by the carmaker.
With the addition of the new variants of the Rapid, Skoda now sells a total of nine variants of the car model priced at a range of Rs 7,12,000 – Rs 9,76,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
