Luxury car maker Volvo India launched the SUV XC90 R-Design. Priced at Rs. 58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the SUV is equipped with the powerful 32 valve V8 4.4 litre petrol engine and is available in five colours. The XC90 is equipped with numerous luxury and safety features and comes with sport-tuned chasis, sports calibrated steering and sophisticated stability control techniques.
While unveiling the SUV Mr, Paul de Voijs, Managing Director – Volvo Car India said that the launch of the new variant of XC90 aims to broaden their model range in order to attract more customers with an active and urban lifestyle. He also said that they would be launching XC60 soon in India after it’s European launch in November this year.
Volvo entered the Indian market in September last year with the sedan S80 and SUV XC90 and has sold over 100 units so far.
