US auto major’s Indian subsidiary General Motors India launched new variants of its hatchback Chevrolet Aveo U-VA that comes with additional interior and exterior features and is priced between Rs. 3.98 lakh and Rs. 5.11 lakh.
Speaking to the press at the launch, Mr. P Balendran, Vice President GM India, said that the new Chevrolet U-VA brings superlative value and additional safety, security and luxury to their customers. GM would continue to roll out new products and also revitalise the existing line-up to create new excitement in the market.
The new variant comes with additional features such as wider windscreen, driver airbag with anti-brake locking system, keyless entry with burglar alarm, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, split-folding rear seats, and deco moulding on the instrument panel and door trims.
The car was unveiled by its brand ambassador, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The car is being promoted with a “Bada Dil Badi Car” tag.
