Volkswagen India introduces its much awaited Volkswagen Ameo Petrol, the made-in-India and made-for-India first sub 4-metre sedan by the brand. The car is currently available with a 1.2L 3-cylinder MPI engine variants, priced between Rs 5.24 lakh and Rs 7.05 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Volkswagen Ameo compact sedan will be powered by the 1.2-liter 3-cylinder MPI engine which is capable to generate 75PS of power at 5,400 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The vehicle has capacity to deliver a ARAI certified fuel consumption of 17.83 kmpl.
