Jaguar Land Rover India has announced the launch of Jaguar XE Prestige variant in India at priced Rs. 43.69 lacs (ex-showroom Mumbai). The new variant will take placed between the currently selling XE Pure at Rs. 39.9 lakh and XE Portfolio at Rs. 47.99 lakh variants respectively. Like the previous two variants, the XE Prestige is also available in only petrol trim as of now.
JLR XE sedan was officialy launched in India at the 2016 Auto Expo to compete against Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3-Series, and Audi A4 models. The car is designed on aluminium intensive architecture using lightweight aluminium monocoque chassis which makes it extremely light yet strong.
Jaguar XE Prestige technical specification:
The XE Prestige variant is also carrying the same 2.0-litre i4 Turbocharged Petrol engine which is capable to produce 200PS of power at 5,500rpm and 320NM of torque at 1750rpm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Jaguar XE comes with Advanced Driving technologies like Electric Powered Assisted Steering (EPAS) that offers outstanding feedback & control and second the All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) which is a low speed cruise control that helps cope with low traction situations.
It gets too many major changes in the compared to the existing two variant except for some new additions like – rear parking camera, exterior mirror with memory function, ambient lighting, Taurus leather upholstery, sunroof, driver seat memory function and a 380W Meridian sound system. The all-new Jaguar XE is also packed with premium features such as InControl Touch which gives control over the car’s major functions including audio, climate control and navigation system.
