    Toyota Fortuner, Innova, Corolla Altis ranked #1 by J.D Power Asia Pacifc 2013

    In the Initial Quality StudySM (IQS) by J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2013 India, three car models of Toyota India have been listed at the top of their respective segments for ‘Exceptional quality’. The car models are namely, the Toyota Fortuner Sports Utility Vehicle, the Innova multi-utility vehicle and the Corolla Altis premium sedan.

    The Innova MPV has been ranked at the top in its segment for the seventh consecutive year, while the Fortuner has been ranked highest for the second time. It is however the first time that the Corolla sedan has made the cut in the ranking by J.D. Power Asia Pacific.

    Commenting on the occasion, Mr. N Raja Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing Toyota Kirloskar Motor stated that Toyota stands for quality, durability and reliability. He added that the awards for the car models further strengthen Toyota’s global standards of quality.

    The study by J.D. Power Asia Pacific ranks car models on the basis of the problems faced by the vehicle owners in the first 2-6 months of ownership.
