Skoda India, a Volkswagen group company recorded sales of 1802 cars in the month of May. The increase is nearly 100 percent as compared to sales in the same period last year. The company sold 753 units of its popular hatchback Fabia which was the reason for the rise in sales. Fabia was launched in January this year.
