Nissan Terrano, the newly launched compact SUV by the Indian arm of the Japanese automaker Nissan has received 6,000 pre-bookings. The new car has been launched in India with an entry level price of Rs 9,58,000 (Ex-showroom Chennai).
The figures for the pre-bookings of the new compact SUV stand at 6,000 units received since its unveiling in the month of September 2013. The Terrano is manufactured at the carmaker’s shared facility with Renault Oragadam near Chennai.
Mr. Kenichiro Yomura President Nissan India states that the launch of the Terrano compact SUV will set the pace for Nissan’s planned car launches for the year 2014. With the launch of the Terrano SUV, the Japanese carmaker has forayed into the compact SUV segment in India. Terrano also marks the first car to have been locally manufactured by Nissan in India.
