Are you interested to go for luxuries 2-doors hatchback, here you will glad to know that the Volkswagen is going to re-launch its Beetle in India after a brief discontinuation and it will be available as a CBU model. Company has opened bookings for Beetle in India and the customers can book the car either online at www.bookmybeetle.in or through Volkswagen showrooms across India at the booking amount at Rs. 1,00,000/-. But remember, a limited number of cars will be available for the Indian buyers.
The Volkswagen Beetle is powered by a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine that can produce 150PS of power. It will have mated to a 7-speed DSG Automatic transmission and 4-link rear suspension with Electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering. The Volkswagen Beetle is loaded with host of new features such as Panoramic sunroof, Bi-xenon headlamps, Leather seat upholstery, 16-inch alloy wheels, KESSY – keyless access and push button start and Chrome packages for interior and Exterior. Redesigned rear bumper and a large spoiler added with its top in a gloss black finish, plus LED rear lights. In-addition the car will get safety features such as 6-airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) & Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) as a standard features.
The Car will be available in four exterior body colours – Habanero Orange, Oryx White, Tornado Red and Blue Silk. The car is built on the PQ35 platform, which underpins the Jetta sedan. It carries forward the retro styling of previous Beetle models.

The company not announced its price yet but according to media and sources, the expected priced between Rs. 32 to Rs. 34 lakh. It will compete against the BMW 1-Series, Mini Cooper, Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione and Mercedes A-Class models.
