Mahindra & Mahindra is going to launch its sub-compact SUV Mahindra KUV100 on 15th January, 2016 and it will be take position below the TUV300. The company claims that it will become the most affordable SUV in its range. Mahindra dealers have started taking pre-orders for the vehicle at booking amount Rs. 10,000 across the country.
Mahindra KUV100 Engine:
The Mahindra KUV100 will be powered by the all-new world-class mFALCON engine technology with both petrol mFALCON G80 and mFALCON D75 diesel which has been developed under joint venture of Mahindra and Ssangyong. This brand new compact lightweight engine technology has built to deliver a high performance and comfortable ride. The all-new 1.2-litre G80 mFalcon petrol engine will generate 82bhp of power and 114Nm of maximum torque while 1.2-litre D75 mFalcon diesel engines will produce 77bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. The both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and claimed to deliver high fuel efficiency.
Mahindra KUV100 Price:
The company did not announce its price yet, but expected to be priced between Rs. 4.5 lakh – Rs. 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
