The Tata Zica hatchback is a reflection of the company’s new IMPACT Design philosophy which is looking modern and fresh. The Zica will get the new Revotron 3-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine and the first Revotorq 1.05L diesel engine. The petrol engine will deliver 85 PS of power and 115 NM of torque at 3,500 rpm while the diesel engine will produce 70 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque between 1,800-3,00 rpm. The Tata Zica will be available with standard 5-speed manual transmission and may also get an Auto-Manual transmission (AMT) transmission.
Both engines have been designed and programmed to deliver superior fuel economy and comfortable driving experience with a segment-first features like the Multi-drive mode � City and Eco. It also comes with Multi-information display, 22 multiple storage spaces, dual front airbags, 9th generation ABS with EBD, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and its AC has been designed for maximum performance. Tata lower petrol variant is expected price is Rs. 4 lakh and while the base diesel variant will be available at priced Rs. 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
It will be the replacement model of the existing model Tata Indica and compete against Renault Kwid, Datsun GO, Maruti Alto K10 and the Hyundai Eon models in Indian market.
