Country’s leading SUV maker Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its much awaited cheapest SUV Mahindra KUV100 at a starting price Rs. 4.45 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). The KUV100 is available in four variants with both petrol and diesel engine namely: K2, K4, K6 and K8, and three Airbags Plus variants called K2+, K4+ and K6+. The front dual front airbags will be extra in all Plus variants, which is standard features in top end variant K8. The KUV100 is manufactured at Mahindra’s manufacturing plant in Chakan, Maharashtra.

The KUV100 starts at an attractive price of Rs. 4.45 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the K2 petrol variant and Rs. 5.25 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the K2 diesel variant.
Mahindra KUV100 technical detail:
The Mahindra KUV100 is powered by Company’s new mFalcon engines, where the G80 1.2-liter 3-cylinder MPFI and dual VVT petrol engine is generating 83 PS of power at 5,500 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 3,500-3,600 rpm, while the 1.2L D75 mFalcon turbo-charged diesel engine is producing 78 PS of power at 3,750rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,250rpm. The 5-speed manual transmission is paired with both engines.
The car claimed to deliver an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 25.32 kmpl with diesel engine and 18.15 kmpl with petrol engine. It also offers the Micro hybrid system (start-stop) and PWR/ECO driving modes for higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The 5 and 6-seater Mahindra KUV100 measures 3,675 mm in length, 1,715 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height (without roof rails), 2,385 mm in wheelbase and 170mm of ground clearance.
The KUV100 is available with excellent warranty of 2 years / unlimited kms and competes against Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Swift and Dzire models.
