General Motors India (GMI) yesterday launched the new automatic version of its SUV, the Chevrolet Captiva, with several advanced features. The car comes equipped with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Launched last year, the Captiva was hugely successful in terms of sales, exceeding its sales target by almost 200 per cent. GM’s future plan is to improve all its models’ fuel effeciency and also develop alternative fuel options.
