India’s SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra said it will introduce the CNG version of its SUV Scorpio and also plans to launch electric vehicles.
During the launch of the CNG pick up, Mr, Vivek Nayer, VP (Marketing, Automotive Sector), Mahindra & Mahindra said that the company would also introduce eco-friendly passenger vehicles as the availability and infrastructure improoves.
On asking about the company plans on the electric vehicle segment, Mr. Nayer said that they have the technology but availability of right infrastructure is the challenge as proper facilities are needed to charge these vehicles.
