    Hyundai Motor India surpasses 1 million unit sales of i20 models

    Hyundai has announced that its premium compact hatchback i20 has achieved 1 million units in global sales. “Made in India and Made for the world”, the i20 is the most awarded car in the Indian automobile landscape winning as many as 34 awards since its inception. The premium Elite i20 also won the prestigious Indian Car of the year in 2015. The i20 was launched in India in 2008 with its most acclaimed fluidic sculpture design language. Since its introduction, the i20 has redefined the premium compact category and offered a sporty, dynamic and an innovative driving experience to customers in India and overseas. Today the i20 stands for Hyundai’s Make in India-Made for World, manufacturing excellence and company’s commitment to provide world class mobility solutions to customers across the globe.
