Honda India has launched a new automatic version of the Honda City sedan known as City S AT which is a trim model of the sedan priced at Rs 9,09,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The trim model is priced lower than the existing automatic City model which is priced at Rs 9,62,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
The new automatic City is a trim down version of the existing automatic launched to cater to customers looking for affordable alternatives. In comparison to the higher priced version, some of the features have been excluded from the trim version of the City such as the chrome-tipped exhaust, turn indicators on ORVMs, 10-spoke alloy wheels and cruise control.
However, it shares the 5-speed automatic transmission with the City V AT along with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The City S AT will compete with the Skoda Rapid Ambition 6-speed and the Ford Fiesta Style 6-speed.
