Ford India, the Indian arm of the American automobile manufacturer Ford has launched a new and cheaper version of its mid-size Fiesta sedan. The new version sedan has been priced between Rs 7,23,000 and Rs 8,99,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
The new version that will replace the global Fiesta car model launched by the company in 2011 is cheaper by Rs 1,45,000 in comparison to the existing Fiesta range. Named as the Fiesta Ambiente, the new version sedan can be availed in both diesel and petrol variants. The new Fiesta will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Verna and the Honda City which both lie in a similar price bracket.
According to Mr. Michael Boneham Ford India President and Managing Director, the company is trying to adapt and evolve with the change in market dynamics and the needs of the Indian customers.
