Audi India, the Indian arm of the German luxury car manufacturer Audi has announced the launch of the petrol version of Q3 sports utility vehicle at a price of Rs 27,37,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The new petrol version of the SUV is equipped with a 2 liter petrol engine and is named the Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI Quattro.
Mr. Michael Perschke Head Audi India stated that the launch of the new Audi Q3 will boost the company’s sales as well as the sales in the SUV segment of the carmaker. He added that the new petrol Q3 will be available at all 25 dealerships of the company in India. Audi India already sells the diesel version of the car model, namely the Audi Q3 2.0 TDIq.
For the month of January 2013, Audi India’s sales witnessed a 10.5 percent increase from 667 units sold in January 2012 to 737 units in 2013, while the company’s sales in the year 2012 totaled 9,003 units in comparison to 5,511 units sold in the year 2011.
