    Honda India introduces Amaze SX at Rs 6,22,000

    Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), the wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese automaker Honda has launched a new variant of the Honda Amaze sedan namely the Amaze SX at a starting price of Rs 6,22,000. The new version includes new added safety features and is available in both petrol and diesel variants.

    The new safety features in the SX variant include twin front airbags and anti-lock braking system (ABS).

    The Amaze SX has been positioned by the carmaker above the Amaze S variant, bringing the total number of variants of Amaze to 12 including the E, the EX, the S, the SX and the VX variants in both petrol and diesel and the S AT and the VX AT variants with petrol option.

    While the petrol variant SX has been priced at Rs 6,22,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the diesel version has a price tag of Rs 7,12,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

    According to Mr. Jnaneswar Sen Senior Vice President (Marketing & Sales) HCIL, the new SX variant of the Amaze sedan will cater to customers seeking safety features at the volume price range.
