Tata Motors, the Indian automobile manufacturer has ventured into the Australian automobile market in collaboration with Fusion Automotive, an independent distributor which will be the exclusive dealer, marketer and distributor for the Tata Motors products in Australia.
The Indian automobile manufacturer will introduce a range of commercial vehicles with both 4×2 and 4×4 options along with both single and crew cabin variants. The vehicles to be launched by the carmaker will be equipped with Euro V Turbo diesel engines.
According to Mr. Karl Slym Managing Director Tata Motors, the entry into the Australian market is an important milestone in expansion plan of the company. He added that the partnership with Fusion Automotive will enable insights about the Australian market.
Fusion Automotive will appoint dealers for the Tata Motors car products across Australia and is expected to have about 13 dealers by the end of 2013.
