Audi India, the market leader in the Indian luxury car segment has launched the Audi S6 luxury sports car model in India at a price of Rs 86,00,000 (ex-showroom in Delhi). The new luxury sports car model will be available at all dealerships of the carmaker across India with immediate effect.
The new Audi S6 is a sports version of the existing Audi A6 luxury sedan which is already sold by the carmaker in the Indian car market. The new car, equipped with a 4 litre V-8 cylinder engine is capable of speeding from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds.
The features of the new luxury car include MMI touch, a 7-speed S tronic transmission, quad-exhaust outlets and adaptive sport air suspension in addition to Audi’s proprietory Quattro all-wheel drive.
The S6 also features a unique feature namely the Cylinder-on-demand (COD) technology which enables four of the eight cylinders to shut down when not required, enhancing fuel efficiency and lowering emission.
