Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, has launched the much awaited Volkswagen Ameo, the first sub 4-metre sedan by the brand. The Volkswagen Ameo is currently available with a 1.2L 3-cylinder MPI engine mated to 5-speed manual gear box. Volkswagen Ameo boasts of numerous segment first features and several class leading features. Some of these features include cruise control, rain sensing wipers, anti-pitch power windows, static cornering lights, and many other features. For Volkswagen, safety is of paramount importance and hence, Ameo comes with essential safety features. All variants will come equipped with dual front airbags and ABS as standard. The Ameo is priced at Rs 5.24 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The car will also be launched with diesel variant with automatic transmission as an option sometime towards the end of the year.
