Japanese automaker Toyota Motors is known for not offering significant discounts. Toyota dealers are now offering lucrative discounts on the petrol variants of Toyota cars in an attempt to clear the inventories at their sales outlets. The continuous hike in petrol prices has affected the sales of the petrol variants, and thus, the dealers are offering discounts including their model best sellers.
The dealers are offering discounts of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 on the petrol variant of Toyota Corolla Altis. Also, since the company is witnessing a decline in the demand of the petrol variants of the Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback after the company introduced their diesel counterparts, the company dealers are therefore offering major discounts on the Toyota Etios petrol twins.
