Land Rover will soon introduce its new performance sub brand in India. Mr. John Edwards, Land Rover’s Global Brand Director stated the company is working on developing the new lineup and was considering introducing the new performance sub brand following the same marketing strategy as used for Jaguar R models.
Currently, the company’s fleet boasts of highly super charged models. The company’s newly launched Evoque is a high performance vehicle, which offers high power, but Mr. Edwards stated considering the trend in emerging markets like India and China, the company feels there is a need to introduce more luxurious version of the Evoque.
The Range Rover Evoque was recently launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 45,00,000, in both petrol and diesel variants.
