    Tata Motors partners with DRB-HICOM in Malaysia for vehicle distribution

    Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has announced that it has partnered with the Malaysian conglomerate DRB-HICOM for the import, distribution and assembly of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles in Malaysia.

    According to Mr. RT Wasan Head International Business Commercial Vehicles Tata Motors, the partnership with DRB-HICOM will enable the carmaker to service the commercial vehicle space with effectiveness and will also allow it to listen and respond to customer feedback.

    The strategic partnership is being seen as a mutually beneficial alliance for Tata Motors and DRB-HICOM as it will allow Tata Motors to strengthen its commercial vehicle business in Malaysia while enabling DRB-HICOM to expand its vehicle assembly and distribution network in the country.

    DRB-HICOM will also become the exclusive importer and logistics service provider for the CKD and CBU vehicles by Tata Motors.
